5 things you want your kids to learn--before they grow up
1. There will always be people who are not considerate of others--at all ages. These people think only of themselves; they are mean. Do not lose your kindness. Let your light shine.
In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets. {Matthew 7:12}
2. Do your best in all that you do. You may not always end up with the outcome you expected or desired, but as long as you have given it your all, you have succeeded!
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." {Philippians 4:13}
3. Choose your husband carefully. Marriage is forever. Your husband should be a man that shows you love and respect. He should be a man that you can show love and respect to.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her. {Ephesians 5:25}
4. Stand fast in your convictions. Do not give into peer pressure. Know what you believe and defend your morals.
But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good... {I Thess. 5:21}
5. Life will bring it's own stresses and difficulties. Do not go looking for them. Find laughter and humor in circumstances that may seem insurmountable at the time you are going through them.Trials come--grow from them. Build character with each hardship.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose {Romans 8:28}
